JE Dunn has completed construction for the award-winning SCAD Chatham House project. This 147,000 SF, 14-story dormitory was rehabilitated for Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) students. Located in the National Landmark Historic District and overlooking Savannah’s beautiful Forsyth Park, the new Chatham House is in walking distance to shops, cafes, churches, salons, offices and 22 city squares. Originally built in 1952 as luxury apartments, the Chatham House has come full circle experiencing a world of change over the past eight decades. This rehabilitation benefits our Savannah community in a myriad of ways by bringing additional life and economic activity to the downtown area, including the hundreds of local jobs generated by a project of this size. JE Dunn is honored to be a part of this revitalization of the Chatham House and the positive impacts it has on Savannah.
