2023 community impact year in review

Santa Clara

The Northern California office of JE Dunn decided to participate in one event per quarter during 2023, our first year as an official office. Employees and interns sorted over 22,500 pounds of produce with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, an organization that is committed to ending hunger. Employees spent the afternoon volunteering at R.A.F.T. (Resource Area for Teaching), where we assembled educational activity kits that provide hands-on learning resources for educators. Volunteers painted decorations for Christmas in the Park at Plaza de Cesar Chavez and decorated a company tree as part of the Enchanted Forest at Christmas in the Park. For the second year in a row, we partnered with Bill Wilson’s Adopt-a-Family by providing gifts to local foster youth, a favorite volunteer experience of the Northern California team.

“Giving back and serving others provides an opportunity for our team to work closely with our community partners to help others. Whether it is painting a platform, cleaning a park, or sorting food, we can all find little ways to make big impacts.”
– Eddie Parenti, Northern California Office Leader
