Collaborating closely with various organizations is a cornerstone of Charlotte’s commitment to community outreach, and among the notable partnerships we maintain is with Beds for Kids. This nonprofit is dedicated to organizing furniture donations that will allow financially struggling families to purchase good furniture at a significant discount. Beds for Kids then packs this furniture and helps move it into a room or even a whole house. This method of distributing furniture allows struggling families to have the satisfaction of providing their kids with the much-needed furniture. Our team was fortunate enough to work with Beds for Kids this year by setting up an office fundraiser, blanket drive, two days of furniture assembly, and one day of delivering this furniture to several families. The Charlotte office also partnered with Classroom Central, participating in their large school supplies drive. Lek Sullivan, Senior Administrative Assistant, and Josh McConaughey, Vice President, led the JE Dunn drive, gathering over 45,000 school supplies and helping to pack over 400 backpacks in 2023.
