2023 community impact year in review

Austin

In 2023, the JE Dunn Austin office was proud to expand our impact on our community through service. We continued our long relationship with the YMCA of Central Texas through multiple volunteer events this year supporting the new Camp Moody summer camp that JE Dunn constructed five years ago. JE Dunn helped build new canoe and kayak racks, added new fencing, installed improved lighting, and helped with upkeep of the existing facilities, including the expansion of a gaga ball pit that we built in 2022. We also hosted our first ever Austin office Habitat for Humanity Build Day, with 22 volunteers contributing 176 volunteer hours to build a home for a family in need. The JE Dunn Austin office also supported children and families through many additional volunteer events in 2023 – including celebrating and supporting families leaving the NICU with their babies; hosting school supply drives; volunteering at the Central Texas Food Bank; and wearing our construction vests as we volunteered as traffic control helping to distribute 1,000 Thanksgiving meals!

“JE Dunn’s legacy of giving back and serving others shows our commitment to being true community builders. More than just putting in infrastructure, we exist to enrich the areas where we work and live by volunteering our time and resources to lend a helping hand to those in need.”
