JE Dunn has been on the SLAC Menlo Park campus since 2016 and has completed numerous projects including:
A design/build, 3,000 square foot cooling tower upgrade that included the partial removal of existing cooling towers, refurbish and re-support of cooling towers to remain, addition of two new package unit cooling towers and all associated structure, infrastructure, MEP, controls, and minor site work.
2,000 square foot build-out of a newly constructed university research and education building. The first portion of work included the fit out of four rooms to house electron microscopes. A controlled relative humidity room was also built to prepare samples for testing. The project also included a liquid nitrogen system.
1,000 square foot remodel of an existing laboratory. This included the rework of HVAC, utilities, humidification and process gas upgrades.
1,000 square foot laboratory renovation to replace existing heat exchanger system and associated cooling systems which supplies cooling water to the accelerator beamline.
Remodel and build-out of 57,000 square feet of research and education space to house electron microscopes. Work included the installation of liquid nitrogen infrastructure to support the new accelerator system.
