This 400,000 SF new residential window and door manufacturing facility will serve as an advanced, model plant for YKK’s AP’s North American operations. YKK AP was one of the first Japanese companies to establish operations in the state of Georgia.
The facility will expand YKK AP’s residential manufacturing business with the addition of new machinery and technologies, advanced sustainable manufacturing processes, and additional capacity to meet the market’s strong demand for single and multi-family residential window products.
JE Dunn is working closely with SSOE on this highly collaborative project to deliver a 365,783 SF manufacturing facility, which also includes 13,386 SF of office space. The project also includes all required campus infrastructure, roads, parking, truck docks, and other site requirements.
This project will add nearly 100 new jobs in Macon, where YKK AP’s residential products business has been headquartered since it was established.
