JE Dunn worked with Via Christi Regional Medical Center on a 215,098 SF, multi-phased exterior façade replacement and interior renovation. The seven-story, exterior renovation included seismic upgrades, lateral bracing, a vertical expansion, and complete skin replacement. Concurrently, the behavioral health department and third floor underwent a significant renovation as other departments received finish upgrades. We also completed a one-story vertical expansion to add a behavioral health activity center. This busy 24/7 campus is located on a tight urban site, so occupancy during construction, patient care, and safety were paramount.
