JE Dunn’s Legacy of Community Impact began right here in Kansas City, our hometown. To this day, that legacy is clearly seen through the broad commitment to local nonprofit partnerships, community board service, and employee volunteerism. During National Volunteer Week, 152 employees volunteered with four nonprofit organizations, undertaking diverse initiatives that ranged from wrapping diaper packages for families in need to refreshing outdoor spaces at a homeless shelter. Employees supported multiple nonprofit events across the metro area and served on nonprofit boards from reStart to the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium. They led mashed potato drives for Operation Breakthrough, smoked meat overnight for a United Way BBQ contest, built houses with Habitat for Humanity, fundraised for the Kansas City Public Schools Education Foundation’s teacher grant program through an employee golf tournament…and much,
much more.
