SMU Garry Weber End Zone Complex Expansion

Gerald J. Ford Stadium Garry Weber End Zone Complex

Project Highlights

The new football operations center offers state-of-the-art amenities, including meeting spaces, offices, a media office, a digital studio, locker rooms, a workout facility, equipment storage, and a commercial laundry area. A dedicated nutrition center with a commercial kitchen now serves all SMU athletes, ensuring optimal performance and recovery. The project also included the installation of two new video boards.

To create the South End seating bowl, crews excavated the original earth bowl down to field level, making way for luxury boxes, club seating, and field-level suites. The second level features a spacious main concourse, complete with lounge areas, club seating, a dining space, and three bars. The third level consists of multi-purpose suite seating, serving as offices during the week and transforming into premium suites with outdoor seating and three bars on game days. Additionally, a dedicated “Kids Zone”—a 40’x40′ artificial turf area featuring yard lines and the SMU logo—creates an interactive space for young fans.
