DFW – Dallas Fort Worth International Airport

Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Stations

Project Highlights

JE Dunn, in partnership with PGAL, is delivering a design-build project to consolidate four existing ARFF stations at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport into two modern facilities, alongside a new fumigation facility. Replacing infrastructure more than 50 years old, the project enhances emergency response capabilities at one of the world’s busiest airports.

The new facility includes 10 apparatus bays with high-speed doors enabling rapid deployment, 21 dorm rooms, and dedicated spaces for training, fitness, and daily living. Specialized areas support hazardous materials, decontamination, and equipment storage, ensuring efficient response and recovery. Built to ICC-500 standards, the station features hardened construction and an F5-rated storm shelter to maintain operations during extreme conditions.

Building a Living Library in the North Dakota Landscape

The library opens on July 4, 2026, alongside America's 250th birthday, and as construction manager, JE Dunn is proud to have built it.

A presidential library pursuing LEED Platinum, SITES, and Living Building Challenge certification simultaneously — emerging from the North Dakota Badlands.
