Dan & Cassidy Towriss IDEA Space

Project Highlights

JE Dunn recently completed the new Dan & Cassidy Towriss IDEA Space for The Barstow School. The reclaimed grocery store was turned into a world-class learning facility with four key areas: Makerspace, Technology Lab, Fabrication Workshop and Incubation Hub. Each space will have cutting edge tools and technology where students learn to solve problems and to develop real-life solutions.

This new space serves thousands of students from diverse neighborhoods and varying socioeconomic backgrounds through year-round, hands-on educational experiences. The IDEA Space is available for more than 91,000 Missouri and Kansas public school students who live within the school districts within an eight mile radius of the space.
