The Rice University Cambridge project consists of an office building and parking garage. The office building is a six-story, 67,000 SF mixed used building with flexible office spaces including, offices, meeting rooms, classroom, classroom lab, huddle rooms, break areas, and town centers. The seven-floor, 159,000 SF parking garage is cast-in-place concrete and has over 500 parking spaces - including spaces for electronic cars and golf carts. The garage also houses a secured bike rack storage area and the mechanical and maintenance spaces for the building. The parking garage is disguised with leaf images displayed on textile mesh cladding attached to the sides of the garage.
