The project introduced flexible, collaborative spaces—including a large indoor/outdoor social area, informal lounges, enhanced meeting rooms, private phone booths, and upgraded individual workstations—while maintaining operations throughout construction.

Purpose-built for 24/7 operations and long-term emergency activations, the State Emergency Operations Center strengthens Minnesota’s ability to coordinate statewide response during critical incidents. Its layout supports operational efficiency, clear communication and real-time decision-making during emergencies.
