JE Dunn has completed the redevelopment of the iconic Quarterdeck Restaurant located in the Sea Pines Resort at Harbour Town. Serving as the cornerstone of Harbour Town, the all-new 18,000 aquare-foot, two-story restaurant is positioned at the entrance to the harbor and beneath the landmark cane-striped lighthouse. This indoor/outdoor resort restaurant is adjacent to the Hilton Head Harbour Marina and features a bar and dining area on the first floor and a rooftop oyster bar boasting 270-degree sunset views overlooking Harbour Town Yacht Basin, the 18th hole of the legendary Harbour Town Golf Links and Calibogue Sound making it one of the most south-after dining venues on Hilton Head Island. A casual, walk-up market on the ground level serves as a place to grab a quick bite to-go or to stock up on provisions for the day. The addition of a boardwalk directs pedestrian flow to the market and pier, creating a gathering spot in this prime waterfront setting. The project also includes an all-new Harbour Master’s Office and all new hardscape surrounding the Harbour.
“From the very beginning, JE Dunn took the initiative to be a valued advisor to our design consultants and helped develop a constructable and cost-efficient product. JE Dunn also internalized a very difficult schedule with a deadline tied to the 2022 RBC Heritage, which successfully delivered.
They were creative with logistical planning which proved to be essential given the site is surrounded by the ocean and sound on three sides. But what stood out the most to me was JE Dunn’s total alignment with values and goals of all stakeholders. Their accountability was coming from a place of genuine care for a total team win.”
