Neuhoff Mixed-Use Development

Project Highlights

The Neuhoff Mixed-Use Development is an innovative project transforming a historic meat-packing facility into a vibrant, multi-functional space in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood. This 7-acre site on the Cumberland River’s west bank was redeveloped into a mixed-use waterfront development, preserving its historical essence while introducing modern amenities.

The project was divided into four blocks, totaling over 1.1M square feet of finished space, as well as an additional 900,000-square-foot parking garage. Block 1 features a 300,000-square-foot, 14-story office building. Block 2 involves the adaptive reuse of a 1900s-era concrete and masonry building covering 160,000 square feet. Blocks 3 and 4 comprise of 567,300 square feet of residential space, including 542 units above a 2,100-car parking garage. These blocks are interconnected with exterior spaces that enhance walkability and community engagement.

What They're Saying

Bill Campbell
Vice President

“JE Dunn dealt proactively with countless design and construction challenges, aiding Ownership to meet quality parameters, schedule demands and budget constraints despite pandemic and postpandemic market conditions. New City would certainly recommend JE Dunn for any large complex project.”

Jim Kennedy
Managing Director

“Hopefully you know how much I appreciate the attention and effort you gave our project over the last few years. Most people outside of construction have no idea what goes into a successful project, but rest assured that I do, and I tell people whenever I get the chance.”
