The new justice center sits on 13.5 acres and consists of a two-story, 100,000-square-foot main building and a single-story, 23,000-square-foot training building.
The new facilities will serve the police department and include a municipal court, 911 mission critical communications, a public lobby, community room, detective, patrol and traffic officer work spaces, training rooms and vehicle storage areas. Officer training space includes classrooms, a fitness center and locker rooms, defense and weapons training.
Security and detention areas are comprised of booking, interview, property and evidence collection, processing and storage, and a vehicle sally port.
