Kinnick Stadium North End Zone

Project Highlights

JE Dunn replaced the north stands at the University of Iowa Hawkeyes legendary Kinnick Stadium. The project included raising the existing north stands with reconstruction of 168,539 SF. The general patron existing seating bowl was replaced by upper and lower seating bowls and upper and lower concourses, each with dedicated fan amenities.

Between the two concourse levels an enclosed 17,000 SF premium club level has a spacious concourse lined with large backlit photos of Hawkeye game-day experiences. The area includes private restrooms, high-definition televisions, a private entrance via a new skywalk, and a commons area that will be used to host business meetings and other gatherings on non-gamedays.

The primary goal of this project was to enhance the game day experience and offer use of the premium areas for non-game-day activities as well.
