The team leveraged laser scanning and VDC modeling to capture real-world conditions in a building with irregular geometry and non-90-degree construction. By overlaying design models with point-to-point scans, the team identified MEP conflicts early, optimized system layouts, and avoided costly rework.
JE Dunn completed the historic renovation of the Georgia State University Student Success Center, located on Auburn Avenue in downtown Atlanta. The 75,000-square-foot, four-story building, originally constructed in 1907 and 1922, once served as the Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company headquarters and remains a significant part of Atlanta’s architectural history.
