Project Highlights

Dunn County Courthouse is a 32,000-square-foot multi-phased addition and renovation to the existing 1990s facility. Phase 1 included adding a basement and two above grade floors with a new main entrance, several internal spaces, and a new concrete parking lot. Phase 2 included a single level addition for better interaction between the sheriff’s department and the courts. A sally port, hearing room, and evidence storage spaces were added. Several departments within the building were renovated including the Clerk of Courts and County Recorder’s office area. The building includes a new geothermal heating and cooling system, a fire protection system with underground storage tank, fire alarm system, and multiple different safety, security, and audio visual systems within the new space.
