JE Dunn Construction Volunteers with Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project to Build New Homes for 24 Atlanta Families

ATLANTA (May 20, 2026) — JE Dunn Construction joined volunteers, partners,
and community leaders to support the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project,
helping build homes and strengthen communities in Atlanta during a landmark
week of service tied to Habitat for Humanity’s 50th anniversary. The Carter Work
Project has become one of Habitat for Humanity’s most recognized international
service initiatives that mobilize volunteers and partners around the world to
address housing insecurity and expand access to affordable homeownership.

From May 3 to May 8, 40 JE Dunn volunteers came together in the spirit of service and partnership to help build 24 homes in Atlanta’s Sylvan Hills neighborhood. The effort brought together corporate partners, neighborhood organizations, and community members around a shared belief that safe, affordable housing creates stronger futures for families and communities alike.

“To go from slab to a completed exterior in just five days, even with a rain delay, was incredible to witness and a testament to the effort and energy this group brought every day,” Brad Stolz, JE Dunn Habitat Build Captain and Healthcare Project Director.

The project honored the decades-long legacy established by President Jimmy
Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter, whose commitment to service helped
transform the Carter Work Project into a global movement. For JE Dunn,
participation in the project aligned closely with the company’s purpose of
enriching lives through inspired people and places.
