University of Oklahoma Cross Village

Project Highlights

This Cross Village residences consists of four, four-story residential buildings hosting more than 1,200 beds and a five-story cast-in-place parking structure for 1,000 cars. The structure of the buildings includes cast-in-place concrete podium on the first floor, with a metal framing system with metal roof truss used for the second, third, and fourth floors. Retail shopping and a kitchen and dining area are located on the first floor.

With just eight months remaining in the schedule, an additional $14 million in retail and restaurant scope was added to the project, all while adhering to the original timeline. Through meticulous planning, collaboration, and the execution of lean building practices, JE Dunn successfully met the added deliverable and achieved substantial completion as scheduled, ensuring the clients’ vision was realized without disruption.
