JE Dunn continues to play a pivotal role during multiple phases of Smithville School District’s 2030 Master Plan. Currently serving as the Construction Manager for Phase 8 of the master plan, our team is overseeing several key projects including the construction of a new 12,970 SF transportation facility, replacement of RTUs at an elementary and middle school, remodeling of the high school gym, and renovation of a middle school turf field.
In 2021, we completed Phase 7 of the master plan, with the construction of a state-of-the-art 25,886 SF activity center for the high school, remodeled the high school kitchen, implemented security upgrades across various facilities, and added classrooms to Eagle Heights Elementary School.
Going further back, in 2017, JE Dunn spearheaded Phase 6 of the Smithville School District’s master plan. This extensive phase involved construction of the new Eagle Heights Elementary school, classroom and cafeteria additions to the high school, complete renovations of Maple Elementary School, and entrance/front office improvements at Horizons Elementary School and middle school.
