The Northside Emergency Department project includes a 79,000 square foot addition and renovation on an active hospital campus. The infill addition included 24 new exam rooms, a new lobby addition over the existing doctors’ parking deck, and five phases of renovation in an active Emergency Department.
The renovations included x-ray rooms, public pharmacy, trauma rooms, ORs, Cardiac Rooms, and 4A Semi-Behavioral health rooms. This project required planning for multiple turnover dates within a few months of each other. These dates could only be accomplished with focus from the team to hit critical milestones in various locations at one time.
