Microsoft Corporation AP2 Building Renovations

4th Floor Renovations

Project Highlights

JE Dunn completed this 48,000-square-foot interior buildout of the 4th Floor AP2 Building to support the expansion of Microsoft Corporation’s Charlotte campus. JE Dunn upgraded the original building systems to modern standards in one of the first significant renovations/expansions to the campus in over 20 years. The finished space can accommodate more than 300 workers with no assigned offices. In addition, JE Dunn added restrooms and upgraded the existing restrooms.

The AP2 buildout is a strikingly bright space full of vibrant colors, textures, and patterns to inspire creativity. Dozens of open meeting spaces and focus rooms are situated throughout the floor for employees to work together on a task or bounce ideas off one another. Natural elements like living moss walls and potted plants punctuate the lively décor. A large kitchenette/hub provides plentiful common area seating.
