Kansas City Kansas Public Schools 2016 Bond Program

JE Dunn is the Construction Manager at-Risk for the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools 2016 bond program. This $235M investment has improved almost every school building and included 51 total projects. The total bond schedule was set for four years, but several projects were completed one year earlier than anticipated due to JE Dunn’s team planning, scheduling and management efforts.

The bond included two new middle schools, three new elementary schools and thirty-four school building renovations. Projects included safety and security upgrades, replacement of eight outdated schools, the re-purposing of one building, renovations and additions to buildings including incorporating career and academy spaces at the middle and high schools and the completion of critical maintenance projects.
