Austin Convention Center Redevelopment

Project Highlights

The Austin Convention Center Redevelopment is set to transform downtown Austin with a state-of-the-art facility designed for both visitors and the local community.
The new convention center will feature 550,000 square feet of indoor space and 70,000 square feet of outdoor areas, including parkland spaces open to the public.
Located at 500 East Cesar Chavez Street, the project begins with the demolition of the existing center, followed by excavation of 1 million cubic yards of earth and rock and finally vertical construction.
