JE Dunn completed the new Electric Park Garden Bar for local Kansas City distillery, J. Rieger & Co., which is an outdoor bar and restaurant. Part of the project included a 3,000 SF addition. The roof of this addition presented several challenges that we were able to overcome by utilizing our in-house prefabrication facility to panelize the roof into pre-finished insulated panels. We were also able to guarantee a better-quality finished product by constructing the panels in a controlled environment. Without panelizing this roof, it would have been difficult to achieve the design intent of the exposed finished decking without unsightly exposed fasteners and potential damage to the wood finish. The end result received much praise from both the design team and the owner and is a testament to JE Dunn’s commitment to quality.
