JE Dunn Construction is proud to announce Kyle Boehnlein as the new leader of their Northern California office, based in Santa Clara. Boehnlein brings nearly two decades of experience with JE Dunn and a proven track record leading complex projects across multiple markets, including semiconductor manufacturing, justice, mission critical, and healthcare.
Boehnlein began his career in Kansas City at JE Dunn’s headquarters, where he gained deep operational and project leadership experience before relocating to Portland to help grow the company’s Pacific Northwest presence as a Project Executive. He also spent a portion of his Portland tenure working in Northern California, leading key semiconductor manufacturing projects. This experience gives him a unique perspective on both JE Dunn’s regional growth and the needs of Silicon Valley clients.
JE Dunn has been building in Northern California for more than a decade and has established a strong reputation in semiconductor manufacturing and mission critical facilities. The Santa Clara office was officially established four years ago as JE Dunn’s work and client base in the region grew. Over that time, the team achieved roughly 45% market growth.
Kyle’s appointment reflects JE Dunn’s successful approach to leadership in emerging markets — pairing long-tenured JE Dunn employees with locally established teams to build on the company’s culture, continuity, and client relationships.
“Northern California has been an exciting region of growth and innovation for JE Dunn,” said Dustin Liljehorn, West Region President. “Kyle’s leadership, combined with the strength of our existing team, positions us to continue expanding our footprint and delivering value for clients in this dynamic market. His deep understanding of our culture, operations, and technical markets will serve our employees, clients, and partners well.”
Known as a people-first leader, Boehnlein is passionate about developing teams, strengthening partnerships, and advancing the company’s presence across the West region.
“There’s so much opportunity and energy in Northern California,” said Boehnlein. “We have a proven team, trusted client relationships, and ongoing work programs that continue to grow. I’m excited to build on this foundation and further invest in the people and partnerships that make this office successful.”
