Building Local – Proactive Integration of Local Trade Partners

Our team partnered with local trades to maximize our reach into the community, resulting in 70% of the construction budget being contracted locally. We also implemented several innovative solutions during construction that provided benefits to the client/community.

Mitigating Risks with SmartBox Technology

The team mitigated risk by utilizing SmartBox technology, which links to gateways and wireless sensors, allowing our team to monitor a variety of construction project conditions to safeguard hospital patrons/ staff while reducing risk. New air handling equipment was used to climatize the building during installation of finishes. With SmartBox technology, we were able to monitor for smoke detection for shutdown of air handlers without having fire alarms and controls complete.
