University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics Forevergreen Road

Project Highlights

JE Dunn completed construction on a new 469,000-square-foot healthcare complex for the University of Iowa Health Care. The new facility is the first phase of their masterplan for expanding UIHC tertiary care capacity on a nearly 60-acre site in North Liberty, IA. Project includes a three-story hospital with mechanical penthouse that contains imaging, surgery, lab, central sterile, pharmacy, food service, patient rooms, and emergency services. Attached to the hospital is a five-story out-patient clinic with mechanical penthouse, which includes university academic medicine education and research facilities, exam rooms, imaging, and indoor/outdoor physical therapy and rehabilitation services. The new health care complex is supported by a new, 36,000-square-foot stand-alone Central Utility Plant, which is designed to be expanded when future phases of the masterplan are constructed.

Building a Living Library in the North Dakota Landscape

The library opens on July 4, 2026, alongside America's 250th birthday, and as construction manager, JE Dunn is proud to have built it.

A presidential library pursuing LEED Platinum, SITES, and Living Building Challenge certification simultaneously — emerging from the North Dakota Badlands.
