This project includes the delivery of two new student housing buildings for the University of Wyoming and is the largest construction project ever on the campus.
The completed North Residence Hall is a new 183,029 SF, 6-story, 220-unit student housing facility with roughly 410 beds and an 850-person student dining facility. The two-story Dining Hall, with nine serving stations that will cater to a large audience including students, faculty, staff, and Laramie residents, was designed to be a hub for campus life. The North Hall also features a deep basement level and a 12/12 pitched roof with attic space for mechanical equipment.
The in-progress South Residence Hall will be a 123,853 SF, 5-story, 285-unit structure with 542 beds. Both halls offer single-use bathrooms and a variety of room types, including doubles, singles, semi-suites with a private bath, and semi-suites with a shared bath. They are centrally located next to the Wyoming Union and Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center.
These facilities are the first new residence halls for the University in 60 years.
