Truman Presidential Library Renovation

Renovation and Expansion

Project Highlights

The Harry S. Truman Presidential Library is 1 of 14 presidential libraries and was the first created under the 1955 Presidential Libraries Act.

As the Truman Library looks to the future, many needs and opportunities were achieved with additional gallery space and a new east entry for the facility. JE Dunn completed the new 32,000 SF addition and renovation, allowing for improved visitor access to the building, as well as major enhancements to the exhibit experience and the flow through each area. The new entry also functions as an event space, along with an adjacent conference room space that was made more open and flexible for a variety of event sizes and occasions.
