The renovated Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital features 34 state-of-the-art beds on the 6th floor. The project involved demolishing 31,000 square feet of existing space and was completed in multiple phases while maintaining full hospital operations. Positioned between the active 7th-floor Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the 5th-floor Mother-Baby Unit, the PICU offers cutting-edge care for critically ill and injured children up to 18 years old. It stands as one of the most advanced and technologically sophisticated PICU facilities in Oklahoma and was the recipient of the AGC Build Oklahoma Award.
