Concourse Expansion

Project Highlights

The Concourse A 50,000-square-foot expansion will add six new gates, with an option for a seventh to the A Concourse, while modernizing the 12 existing gates on the A & B Concourses. The project will also introduce new restroom facilities, concessions, and hold rooms to support the increased gate capacity. To ensure gates become operational as quickly as possible, the team expedited the preconstruction phase.  A detailed plan to keep all existing jet bridges in service during the peak tourism season was included.

At the ramp level, the expansion will create additional space for back-of-house functions. To accommodate these changes, the team rerouted several major utilities located between Concourses A & B, requiring significant apron and paving work. The project is also delivering new power infrastructure to support the expanded facilities.

The expansion includes new terrazzo flooring and renovated restrooms throughout both the new and existing areas of Concourse A & B. Upon completion, the terminal will feature improved circulation and increased natural light, enhancing the overall passenger experience.
