Baylor University Fudge Football Development Center

Project Highlights

The Fudge Football Development Center is a cutting-edge, 110,000-square-foot facility designed to elevate Baylor University’s Division I football program. This premier resource offers state-of-the-art training, rehabilitation, and meeting spaces, including dedicated offices for coaches, equipment staff, and medical trainers. Student-athletes benefit from a medical training area, equipment distribution room, and a high-performance strength and conditioning weight room. This space includes a large team meeting room with theater-style tiered seating.

At the heart of the center is a 14,460-square-foot expansion of the Jay and Jenny Allison Indoor Practice Facility, featuring a full-size practice field, an upgraded entry and lobby, second-level bridge connectivity, and offices for coaching staff.

A key component of the project was the meticulous installation of underground utilities—power, data, irrigation, stormwater management, and sanitary sewers. Due to the proximity of existing buildings and the risks associated with undocumented utility lines, the project team leveraged advanced technologies and proactive planning to ensure seamless integration while safeguarding existing infrastructure. Close collaboration with campus stakeholders was instrumental in achieving the facility’s operational and performance objectives.
