Kevin Sears Selected to Ingram’s 40 Under Forty

JE Dunn Construction is pleased to announce that Kevin Sears, Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) Vice President, has been selected to Ingram’s 40 under Forty class of 2024.

Kansas City, MO., April 18, 2024 – JE Dunn Construction is pleased to announce that Kevin Sears, Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) Vice President, has been selected to Ingram’s 40 under Forty class of 2024. Ingram’s 40 Under Forty program is a top leadership recognition program that judges candidates on ethics, integrity, commitment to entrepreneurial thinking, professional achievements, leadership skills, and community service.

As Vice President of AFG, Kevin has supported over 20 projects totaling more than $1.5 billion across all regions of JE Dunn’s national footprint. Most of his projects have been in the data center industry, highlighting his passion for technology and his innovative mindset. He is also an advocate for Workforce Development of Construction Trades with a focus on increasing the diversity of the construction workforce in the Kansas City metro.

“Kevin truly embodies the essence of leadership. His unwavering commitment to the development of individuals and communities reflects the highest standards within our group in Kansas City. Working alongside him every day is both an honor and a privilege,” Chris Teddy, National director of Mission Critical.

Outside the office, Kevin embraces the spirit of civic pride through alumni support of Rockhurst High School Freshman Retreats, raising funds for Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, and was a top virtual volunteer for PreKC during the pandemic. He channeled his passion for education and technology by joining Blue Valley School District’s B.E.S.T. Committee, serving as Charitable Donations Director of AFCOM, and co-chairing Round Tables with the KC Tech Council.

“It’s an honor to be recognized for my potential to make a greater impact on both the built environment and construction career pathways in Kansas City,” said Sears. “I am grateful to Ingram’s for selecting me to represent the construction industry and for recognizing the role that construction plays in the quality of where we all live, work, and play.”
