Applied Underwriters Headquarters

The new Applied Underwriters Headquarters features two three-story wings that house an auditorium, a fully equipped kitchen, dining areas, a coffee bar, and versatile office and conference spaces, all enhanced by an advanced electrochromic glazing system. Beneath the main structure is a two-story parking garage totaling 562,000 square feet, accommodating up to 1,000 vehicles, and includes a state-of-the-art data center, ample storage, two car washes, a fitness room, locker rooms, mechanical and electrical rooms, and two loading docks—all designed to preserve 50 acres of green space and natural habitat.

Engaging our Self-Perform team has been essential, as we successfully placed an average of 160 cubic yards of concrete and 14 tons of rebar daily early in the construction process.

Applied Underwriters plans to relocate up to 2,000 employees to this 270,000-square-foot facility which will be among the first structures to become operational within the Heartwood Preserve development.
