Saronic Technologies Port Alpha, Phase 1

Project Highlights

Port Alpha is a $3.2 billion, 835-acre next-generation shipyard development at the Port of Brownsville in Texas, designed to expand U.S. maritime manufacturing capacity and support autonomous, autonomy-capable, and traditional vessel production at scale. Phase 1, delivered by JE Dunn | Alberici joint venture in collaboration with Stantec and KPFF, features 1.2 million square feet of enclosed production space, more than 2,500 feet of deepwater quay, advanced manufacturing facilities, and waterfront infrastructure. The progressive design-build approach supports coordinated design, procurement, and construction while positioning the campus for future expansion.
