JE Dunn Construction is expanding its Advanced Facilities Group with a new Power Generation business unit to support the growing demand for power generation and position the top-ranked domestic builder for strategic market growth.
Data center and AI infrastructure growth, onshoring U.S. manufacturing, broadening electrification, and an aging power generation fleet have all contributed to the urgency for more power capacity. Load growth in the regions where JE Dunn builds is moving in a direction that the existing infrastructure simply wasn’t designed to support. To help navigate and meet that demand, JE Dunn will add more support with dedicated leadership and resourcing helmed by Vice President and Market Lead Ryan Wilson, who previously served as a Senior Project Manager focused on Industrial & Manufacturing work at the firm.
In this role, Wilson will leverage a decade of industry knowledge with operational expertise to grow the market and help clients navigate complex capital investments while advancing JE Dunn’s position as a trusted partner in power infrastructure. After working alongside some of JE Dunn’s largest industrial clients to understand their unique needs, Wilson is ready to translate his skills for power projects with similar demands around speed to market, strategic procurement, and certainty of outcome.

“Throughout his career with JE Dunn, Ryan has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership, a strong commitment to our clients, and a proven ability to successfully deliver complex projects across EPC and hybrid delivery models. His determined work ethic, strategic vision, and commitment to operational excellence makes him the ideal leader to help establish and grow this important market,” Advanced Facilities Group President Paul Neidlein said.
As Power Market Leader, Ryan will work closely with clients, industry partners, and internal teams to identify opportunities, develop tailored delivery strategies, and drive successful project outcomes. JE Dunn employees have completed over 220 power projects across all types of generation. Over the last 18 months, Wilson has been researching the market, building JE Dunn’s strategy to grow its power portfolio, and establishing a strong network of industry partners and client relationships. These insights will help him guide owners through JE Dunn’s robust offerings from procurement expertise to off-site manufacturing and capital support.
“JE Dunn stands ready as a trusted partner who has walked through permitting, equipment procurement, and commissioning on complex facilities, and will stand beside owners as they transform the American power fleet,” Wilson said.
