AUSTIN — (June 12, 2026)
Patriot’s Hall, a Dripping Springs nonprofit, received a $150,000 grant from JE Dunn Construction on June 11, 2026.
Founded in 2019, the organization strives to empower veterans, active-duty, and their families through connection for continued service to each other and to the community. The group’s 10-acre campus is a dedicated space where veterans and their families can find connection, growth, and healing.
“Service to others is the foundation of everything we do at Patriots’ Hall,” said Sharon Reddehase, Executive Director at Patriots’ Hall. “JE Dunn shares that same commitment to people and community, and we’re honored to partner with them to expand mental health and wellness resources for veterans, active-duty service members, and their families right here in Central Texas.”
Patriots’ Hall will use the grant to triple their mental health support availability, build the organization’s first formal peer support infrastructure, and develop an outreach program to reach the highest-risk veterans — those transitioning out of active service.
The grant was given as part of JE Dunn’s annual Cornerstone Campaign, which builds on the company’s 100-year legacy of giving back by investing more than $1.5 million per year toward an employee-selected charitable cause through intentional donations across the communities we serve.
Employees nationwide nominated organizations within the cause area, which were then vetted by the Community Impact team and a national Cornerstone Committee through an invitation-only grant process.
“It’s our honor to carry forward our founder’s legacy of doing the right thing and serving others through this employee-driven philanthropic strategy,” said Nancy Phelps, JE Dunn Community Impact Director. “This year, our employees chose to invest in organizations that expand access to healthcare and mental well-being resources for veterans. We can’t think of a more meaningful way to thank those who protect where we live, work, and build than by helping ensure veterans and their families have the support they need to thrive at home.”
The grant was presented by representatives of JE Dunn’s Austin office, highlighting the company’s commitment to investing in the local communities where its employees live and work.
