Powered by geothermal energy, Larimer County’s new Emergency Services Building is constructed with impact in every corner. The 40,000 square-foot facility houses a 19,5000 square-foot business space and a 20,000 square-foot area for emergency vehicle storage. Strategically designed to maximize space for emergency response, the site’s underground fire suppression storage tanks store a 22-foot wet well that pulls 90,000 gallons of water for fire pump use.
The building serves as a hub for wildland fire, search and rescue, water rescue, and hazardous materials incidents—bringing a much-needed resource to the isolated parts of Larimer County.
