In late 2022, CPC purchased the building at 29th and Main as a new office to up-size from their space at Children’s Mercy Broadway. JE Dunn completed a total renovation of the existing building into therapy rooms, advocacy rooms, forensic interview rooms, offices, conference rooms, restrooms, and a breakroom, as well as resurfacing the parking lots and creating ADA-compliant pathways to the two main entrances.
Features of the Project:
Complete tear-out and replacement of existing partitions, ceilings, flooring, restrooms, and electrical systems.
Modifications to existing HVAC and Plumbing systems.
Forensic interview rooms, including acoustical sound absorbing panels, audio and video recording equipment, and furniture to conduct said interviews.
A State-of-the-art boardroom with a full audio/visual system, multi-use modular furniture, a collaboration space, and a beverage cooler.
A staff breakroom with a full-size refrigerator, dual dishwashers, a food prep space, and group seating.
Gender-neutral and ADA-compliant restrooms for staff use, as well as private ADA-compliant restrooms for client use.
Complete revamping of security and life safety systems to suit the sensitive nature of the work CPC does on a daily basis.
