Lean

High-performing teams built on trust and accountability

Lean

At JE Dunn, Lean is more than just tools and processes, it’s a culture. By building trust and fostering transparency and accountability, our teams generate value, streamline workflows, and deliver higher quality, safer, and more predictable projects.

Our Approach

From design through construction, we leverage proven Lean tools to optimize outcomes:

  • The Last Planner® System (LPS): ensures reliable workflows and coordinated schedules.
  • Target Value Delivery (TVD): controls cost while maximizing design value.
  • Value Stream Mapping: identifying waste.
  • BIM & 3D scanning: visualizes project plans and helps identify potential issues.
  • Process Improvement tools: Kaizen events, Improvement Kata, 5S, and Root Cause Analysis to maximize communication and collaboration.

Our Lean culture empowers teams to collaborate effectively, solve problems early, and align every decision with the owner’s vision, delivering projects faster and smarter. Applying lean principles to a project can improve workflow, leading to more reliable cost, schedule, and scope.
