The 74,764 SF, four-story University of Texas at Dallas Student Services Building addition is not only an addendum to an existing facility, but also a complementary structure with its own unique program. Although inclusive of faculty and student organization offices, the majority of the spaces are communal areas focused on student learning and relaxation.
The building is the new home for the Comet Card Office, the Student Union and Activities Advisory Board, Student Programs, the Office of Student Volunteerism, the Veteran Services Center, the Center for Students in Recovery and the Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs.
Also featured within the building are a 530-seat auditorium, food and retail locations, a gaming wall, and a two-story commons area. The third floor continues the flexible gathering purpose with seven student meeting rooms.
