JE Dunn recently built the new South Dakota State University Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium, completed in time for the 2016 football season. This new, ground-up, 19,300-seat stadium was constructed at the same location as the existing Coughlin Alumni Stadium, while not losing any events. Amenities include a four-level press/suite tower that houses two kitchens, an indoor club, 24 executive/private suites, 150 loge seats and media/coaching areas. The indoor club has access to 1,200 exterior premium seats. New student and general admission seating was constructed on three sides, creating a “horseshoe” design. Restrooms, concessions, operation and support facilities, novelty areas and new synthetic turf field finalized the project.
