The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) is a 1,572,278-square-foot, secure campus that houses non-nuclear, high-tech electronic components and assemblies for the National Nuclear Security Administration. The project provides space for large-scale, microelectronic manufacturing and critical process-related production in a clean environment and includes Class 100, Class 10,000 and Class 100,000 cleanrooms.
Approximately 100 miles of mechanical pipe was placed on the NNSA campus. Features include a central utility plant, hot/cold water, industrial waste processing, clean steam, and a utility grid located throughout the manufacturing building.
The campus includes departments for microelectronic and component assembly and electrical fabrication, labs and engineering labs, manufacturing and GTS, specialized materials production, plastics and rubber processes, as well as testing and inspection.
