This 183,000-square-foot, 28-bed, critical access replacement hospital and three-story attached medical office building was built to support the growing community of Dickinson, North Dakota and its population of 16,000 residents. The hospital facility includes rehab, emergency department, labor and delivery, operating rooms, and individual physician clinics.
Work on the 75-acre site included all sanitary and storm connections. Domestic and fire water service is provided to the facility from two different entrance points to offer redundancy to the hospital facility. Construction was completed simultaneously with adjacent road construction being performed by the city, which required coordination of shutdowns.
This project included robust trade partner outreach efforts which allowed for the completion of all utility, sitework and paving to be performed by local trade partners.
