This LEED Silver project includes the renovation of the existing science building at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. The art gallery and lecture classrooms remained operational during construction and all existing science labs and classrooms were demolished. New chemistry, geography, and anthropology labs were constructed along with new classrooms and a science learning center. The existing auditorium received minor upgrades including painting, flooring, and seating. All new HVAC equipment and electrical services were installed. Minor exterior work was performed including window upgrades, masonry repairs, caulking, and roof replacement. Asbestos abatement was also included in the scope.
