Jason Hickam of JE Dunn ConstructionNeesha Hitchcock of Children's Mercy Hospital Kansas and Heather Physioc of VMLY&R have been selected to a national list of influential young executives.

The Business Journals' Influencers: Rising Stars spotlights 100 executives who are having an impact early in their careers on business being done in cities throughout the nation.

These executives represent large, nationally known companies as well as smaller, locally driven businesses. The group includes entrepreneurs, innovators, dealmakers and risk-takers. And because they're still early in their careers, these executives could shape how business is done for years to come.

Hickham, Hitchcock, Physioc and the rest of the Rising Stars were identified in conjunction with editors and staff writers throughout The Business Journals' network of more than 40 publications, including the Kansas City Business Journal. The list draws in large part from the publications' respective NextGen Leaders or Forty Under 40 productions during the past year. From that mass of more than 1,000 executives who've been profiled locally in the past 12 months, the field was narrowed to spotlight the 100 executives being recognized as Rising Stars.
